I was in my work cafeteria buying my typical lunch when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Texas flag. And there it was…a giant food truck claiming to bring Central Texas to East Tennessee. Being from San Antonio and going to college in Austin, I had to see for myself. I ditched the lunch I’d just bought and rushed outside. The first bite of their brisket seriously brought tears to my eyes. It is legit. It is amazing. It is like I spent $$$ to fly home to Central Texas and eat brisket there. My reaction – so emotional, so full of joy – caused many of my coworkers to head outside and order their lunch with Taste-o-Texas. Thank you thank you thank you for brightening my day, my week, my month, my year!
